The Role: Business Development Representative (BDR)

As a BDR, you’ll be on the front lines of our sales team—responsible for identifying and connecting with prospective customers across targeted markets. Your mission is to generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound outreach (calls and emails), and book meetings for our Outside Sales Representatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is goal-oriented, coachable, and excited about growing into a long-term sales or account management career.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and research potential business leads within designated territories.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls and emails.
  • Qualify leads based on target criteria and schedule meetings for the Outside Sales team.
  • Track all interactions and maintain up-to-date records in our CRM (NetSuite).
  • Partner with Assistant Market Manager to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed KPIs for calls, appointments set, and opportunities created.
  • Participate in regular training, coaching sessions, and team meetings to improve performance.
  • Support sales initiatives and special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred (not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making high volume outbound calls and engaging with decision-makers.
  • Driven, coachable, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Experience in B2B sales, customer service, or lead generation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (NetSuite) and tools like Zoom is helpful.
